"No rule to make target" while compiling.

Hi there. I'm trying to compile kommute 0.20 on ubuntu jaunty 64 bit. I'm not really a linux expert yet, so forgive me if I'm asking a simple question.

I followed the installation instructions on http://kommute.sourceforge.net/wiki/ind … nixCompile, and when I ran make, I got this message

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `compiler_updateqm_make_all', needed by `kommute'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/norm1/kommute/kommute/src'
make: *** [sub-src] Error 2

Intuition tells me these sorts of errors are caused by problems in the make file, so I started over with a fresh install, did qmake again, typed make, and found the same error.

What can I do to make kommute install? Did I make a mistake?

I read in MUTE that it makes real problem that you are behind a firewall with no port forwarded because you're begging for connection to people who are not behind firewall, the point I'm asking about is that must you do this manually(the port forwarding)?
I installed kommute and I didn't find its port(4900) automatically opened.
so the real question in short is why not use UPNP?

Hello,

I published kommute 0.19.

There has been much work done since the last publication. Some bugs have been fixed, new features have been added. My tests show excellent stability under linux. Under windows, stability seems better than in previous versions (4 days without crash), although I have seen some random crashes on receipt of responses to searches.

Thank you to all the developers and translators who have enabled this progress.
